Ben Affleck & Matt Damon's 'Incorporated': Syfy Show Similar To 'Mr. Robot' & Trump's America; Pilot Episode Now Online [SPOILERS]

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are the producers of "Incorporated" on Syfy. Premiering on Wednesday, Nov. 30, the show created by David and Alex Pastor presents similarities to "Mr. Robot" and real-life Trump's America.

"Incorporated" takes place in 2074 and it is corporations -- not governments -- running the world. The cable network released the pilot episode of the series online, two weeks before its premiere to give viewers a sneak peek.

"Incorporated" opens with brief explanation of how the world is very different in the future. Only a small percentage of privileged people live in the Green Zone, while the rest try to survive and struggle through oppression in the Red Zone.

Ben Larson (Sean Teale) is a Green Zone resident who works at Spiga, one of the largest corporations with a stake in the control of the world in "Incorporated." He is married to his boss Elizabeth's (Julia Ormond) estranged daughter Laura (Allison Miller).

Ben Larson has set his plan in motion in the first episode of "Incorporated" by rising up the ranks of his company. He is secretly from the Red Zone who infiltrated the Green Zone with one goal in mind. He is there to "save a woman he loves" and overturn the control of the system as well, according to the official site.

Because "Incorporated" takes place in the future, technology plays a lot into the stories. Coupled with corporate espionage, the series' tone is quite comparable with "Mr. Robot" on USA Network. Co-star Dennis Haysbert, who heads the corporation's security, told Deadline that what's happening in "Incorporated" is almost reflective of real life with current events in America.

"A few misplaced politicians and some other crazy things happening in the world will put us there," he said. "Intolerance of people, against other people, is growing," the actor added.
