"Rick And Morty" Season 3 from creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon continues to perplex fans of the Adult Swim series with January 2017 the more likely premiere. Although fans were initially impressed with the prospect of a December 2016 release for Season 3, Mr. Poopybutthole may have been closer the truth.
Den Of Geek points out that earlier reports that "Rick And Morty" Season 3 release in December 2016 may have been confirmed by episode completion by Sept 28 may be too optimistic. According to the media outlet, a 2017 premiere of the series on Adult Swim is becoming the more likely. This is not without basis as the announcement by Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon or the team at Adult Swim has yet to be made.
The wait for "Rick And Morty" Season 3 borrow much anticipation from the fact the Rick Sanchez is about the break out from a prison sentence set by the Intergalactic Federation. Bets are being hedged on whether Rick Sanchez will be rescued by Krombopulos Michael or if Evil Morty will figure in his escape. Although enigmatic assassin Krombopulos Michael is winning this popularity contest, a number of fans are hoping that Evil Morty makes a reappearance in Season 3.
Parent Herald also cites Uproxx report on promise by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon with Ryan Ridley and Spencer Grammer (Summer Smith) that "Rick And Morty" Season 3 will explain the secret terror that the Cob Planet holds. Fans saw Rick Sanchez and his family in Season 2 trying to find sanctuary in a small planet, which they later on discovered to be a Cob Planet. Rick Sanchez hired his family off post-haste with nary an explanation upon this discovery.
Mr. Poopybutthole announced that "Rick And Morty" Season 3 will premiere in March 2017. However, the more optimistic projection for the Adult Swim series is looking at January 2017. In the case of a miracle, the team may still pull off a "Rick And Morty" coup just as December 2016 ends.
