"Game Of Thrones" Season 7 is the penultimate run of the HBO adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song Of Ice And Fire." Despite talks of a "GOT" prequel spinoff, it won't be too long before stars are snapped up by new projects. Such was the case for Netflix "Iron Fist" star Finn Jones after his character Loras Tyrell was eliminated in Season 6 finale, "The Winds Of Winter."
An exclusive by Entertainment Tonight relayed the transition for Finn Jones from Loras Tyrell in "Game Of Thrones" Season 6 onto becoming the next predicted Netflix sensation as Marvel superhero Iron Fist. Finn Jones revealed knowing that Loras Tyrell and his family were never meant to stay too long in the series. According to the Netflix star, after six years of playing Knight Of Flowers Loras Tyrell was enough for him.
Finn Jones was happy to exit his HBO character. Interestingly a full day had not even passed after he wrapped his final scene as Loras Tyrell when he got the call to audition for "Iron Fist." For the former Loras Tyrell, his last day with "Game Of Thrones" could not have been more perfect.
Another "Game Of Thrones" star to move onto new meaty titles is Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo), who was snapped up for Aquaman (among other projects) - which incidentally now has a release date as The Hollywood Reporter cites. Jason Momoa caught the public eye with his turn Khal Drogo, who had been married to Mother Of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). The "GOT" actor is also said to be in line to lead in the reboot of "The Crow."
Fans are now waiting to hear of where their favorite stars are headed once HBO delivers "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 and Season 8. Meanwhile, HBO is set to premiere Season 7 in the summer of 2017. This will be a shorter "GOT" season as the saga prepares for the conclusion of Season 8.
