"The Originals" Season 4 is a dangerous place for Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan), Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) and the New Orleans gang. Along with the Mikaelsons Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Freya (Riley Voelkel), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) and friends Marcel (Charles Michael Davies) and Vince (Yusuf Gatewood) life could end as they know it. A new villain is coming to town and it is a monster that could bring the end.
As posted in IMDb, "The Originals" Season 4 will usher in a new kind of villain that would in fact force Klaus Mikaelson and the New Orleans crowd into unity. Band they must as the Season 4 villain is the kind of monster that reportedly has the ability to end their existence - even that of The Originals. Coming together may be a feat in the beginning especially after the confrontations and difficulties of Season 3.
Klaus Mikaelson himself will have spent five years as a prisoner of Marcel Gerard when "The Originals" Season 4 premieres. Being locked up in "The Garden," as his prison is called, in itself would have been bad enough. But to have missed the growth of his daughter with Hayley Marshall, Hope (Summer Fontana) because of this ordeal would have expected repercussions.
Still, "The Originals" Season 4 will have new revelations about Hope Mikaelson that should make up for lost time. Among them will be the discovery that Hope Mikaelson is much more like Klaus than any of them would have anticipated. This does not only mean the good, but also the bad aspects o the original hybrid.
Changes in "The Originals" Season 4 will also be the migration of "The Vampire Diaries" characters from Mystic Falls to New Orleans, including that of Alaric (Matt Davis) as Entertainment Weekly cites in an earlier report. The CW will air "The Originals" Season 4 premiere on March 17, 2017.
