"Thor: Ragnarok," which stars Chris Hemsworth as the Mjolnir wielding Marvel hero and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, will be far more heartbreaking that anticipated. Although Marvel fans have been warned about Ragnarok villain Hela (Cate Blanchett), the power and evil she wields may be more than first thought. Recent "Thor" theory says Hela may be joining the final instalment of the Norse god's standalone trilogy with the Soul Stone.
On her own, Hela holds massive power as the Goddess Of Death. Hela is known as recurring enemy to Thor. However, Movie Pilot proposes that Hela might actually come into possession of the Soul Stone with help from Heimdall (Idris Elba).
According to the "Thor: Ragnarok" theory, Heimdall may have been in possession of the Soul Stone, which allowed the Asgardian warrior to have the ability to see souls. When Heimdall appeared in the "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" blinded and quite defeated, he may have been by then already stripped of the Soul Stone. Specifically, he may have been blinded by Hela and relieved of the Soul Stone by the Goddess Of Death.
If this is the case, Hela could be all but unstoppable in "Thor: Ragnarok." Or Hela may be eventually stopped, but not before she takes hundreds, even thousands, of souls to serve her army. Some of them may be fan favorite Marvel characters, including Heimdall.
Of course Hela is not the only danger in "Thor: Ragnarok." Comicbook cites recent release of a fan trailer, which teases that Loki will be in one of his moods and may be the biggest challenge for Thor in this final film. "Thor: Ragnarok" will also bring in The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Thanos (Josh Brolin). Fans will see the final "Thor" film in theaters on Nov 3, 2017.
