"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" recently got a mid-season update which includes a free map. The game just got the Red Crow DLC lately which introduced Japanese Operators into the game.
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's" recent update includes the much awaited Bartlett University map which was supposed to be out already. The Bartlett University is the closest thing to a campaign mode associated with "Rainbow Six Siege." The update also contained several fixes and balance changes to the game, according to GameRant. Tachanka the defender operator who was considered to be the weakest will be getting a shield to protect him from frontal headshots, while Blackbeard's killing efficiency will be balanced with the following changes, Shield health points reduced from 150 to 60, Aiming down sights increased from 0.25 to 0.7 seconds, and Aiming down sights from sprint increased from 0.35 to 0.8 seconds.
"Rainbow Six Siege's" weapons were also fixed to make it more balanced. Assault rifles which have more damaging power than the SMG will be receiving more recoil, as a result, Assault rifles have high recoil and high damage while SMG's have low damage and low recoil. Shield Operators will also be getting a tweak that will offer directional resistance versus explosions.
Other fixes for the recent Rainbow Six Siege update includes, the issues wherein a "headshot bonus is awarded when landing a melee kill, even if a headshot was not performed, Players are able to vault from certain windows, even when a vault prompt is not presented, Players receive threat indicators when being shot by suppressed weapons, barricades are sometimes vaultable prior to reaching the intended amount of destruction, Revive animation is broken when a player is revived by the Stim Gun, and much more based on the game's patch notes.The fixes, changes, and additional content for "Rainbow Six Siege" will continue within the coming future to ensure a seamless multiplayer experience.
